Caprices was taped at a concert of The New Philharmonic Orchestra at the French Radio House, Paris, on November 23, 1976, and the tape kindly supplied by the French Radio for this record. Convergences and Dialogues originally appeared on the Fona label and are here reproduced according to CRI's ongoing policy of reviving worthy music that has disappeared from the record shelves.
