Die Original TV-Serie
Bei der TV-Serie "Mein Freund Winnetou" denkt man unwillkürlich an Karl May. Die Anregung dazu kam jedoch von Pierre Brice, der wie früher den Winnetou spielt. Neben ihm begegnen uns in den einzelnen Folgen so bekannte Figuren wie Old Shatterhand und Sam Hawkins. Neu in der Geschichte ist der Indianerjunge Tashunko, der Winnetou zum großen Freund hat.
Die Produktionen geben einen tiefen Einblick in das wahre Leben der Indianer. Im Vordergrund stehen dabei ihre Kultur, ihre Denkweise und ihr Kampf gegen die weißen Eindringlinge.

This edition contains the original audio-tracks from the TV-series "Mein Freund Winnetou".
Each of the seven cassettes includes two episodes of the TV-series (which consists of 14 parts), but on the cassette-shell is named only one of each for both sides.
