"The works performed on the two records MUSICAL PROVINCE I AND II (MOAK 30012 and 13) are written by the five composers: Per Nørgård, Karl Aage Rasmussen, Tage Nielsen, Fuzzy and Svend Nielsen, all of whom are teachers at the Royal Academy of Music, Aarhus. The recording sessions took place during the course of 1975 in the academy's sound studio and, with very few exceptions, all the participating singers and instrumentalists are either teachers or students at the academy."
