"From 1882 to 1912, the Buffalo Bill Wild West Show was the most popular show in the world. A tour took Buffalo Bill and his troop across North America and Europe. They enjoyed immense success in Paris where the show was presented in 1895 at the foot of the Eiffel Tower in front of three million spectators. Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show was a breathtaking show intended to recreate the atmosphere of the American West in all its authenticity. Scenes from the life of the pioneers illustrated themes such as the buffalo hunt (an activity which earned Colonel W.F. Cody his nickname "Buffalo Bill"), the Pony Express, [and] the attack on a stagecoach and a pioneer hut by the Indians. The presence of real American Indians was the highlight of the original show. For millions of Americans and Europeans, the great myth of the Wild West began. The cinema took over and this is how the western was born, but nothing could ever replace Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show. A hundred years later, Euro Disney is proud to revive this legendary show which is unique in the world." Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show is presented by American Express, official partner of Euro Disney Resort. First performance at the Wild West Arena in Festival Disney, part of the Euro Disney Resort, France on April 12th, 1992. Total Length: 67:30 Packaging includes a four-page booklet with notes in both French and English. (The former have been translated into English for inclusion in the Release Notes section, and noted here as per [g11.1.2.]!) This is a unique release of this particular item, due to the fact that it was pressed by [l267848] as per [url=https://www.discogs.com/help/forums/topic/342378#3217909]Forum Topic 342378#3217909[/url]. For the version that was pressed by [l56025], please refer to [r10903610]. The title of this release is listed as "Original Soundtrack Music of Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show" on the booklet cover, but as "Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show Music" on both the inlay card spine and CD label. Both are applicable, but since the latter version is used more frequently, a compound title has been created (with the latter as the primary title and a portion of the former as the subtitle!) for the Title section as per [g3.1.3.] The use of the "Album" tag in the Format section is consistent with [g6.10.]a), since it's mentioned on the item itself, and therefore needs no credible external source.
