Premiere soundtrack release of composer Angelo Francesco Lavagnino’s film score in stereo for "DAMON AND PYTHIAS", a US-Italian co-production peplum film directed by Curtis Bernhardt in 1962.
Also included as a bonus, the only surviving tracks from Lavagnino´s score for the 1965 adventure film "I PREDONI DEL SAHARA" directed by Guido Malatesta under the pseudonym James Reed.
For this release original stereo master tapes were used made possible by the Lavagnino estate.
*Track 27 is a damaged track.
