This recording was made in the Concert Hall of the Henie-Onstad Art Centre, Høvikodden outside Oslo, in March and June 1982, with a multi-mike-set-up (diagram inside cover) and a 16-channel Studer A80. The record was made by Teldec in Hamburg / Nortorf directly from the edited stereo master tape.
