Between the music, the story of "The Nutcracker" is inserted in a dramatic style, faithful to the original work of E.T.A. The 13 characters of a wide range of ages, including the narrator, are played by popular voice actors Akira Ishida and Rie Kugimiya, who are known as "craftsmen."
