This recording of Orff: Carmina Burana (Burana In Brass) was completed over the course of three days - July 31 and August 1, 2005 at Saint Luke Catholic Church, McLean, VA [1-20]; and August 2, 2005, at National Presbyterian Church in Washington, D.C. [20-21]. William Neil, who is the organist of the Washington Symphonic Brass, is also the principal organist of the National Presbyterian Church and the National Symphony Orchestra. The organ, dedicated in 1970, is Opus 146 of the Aeolian-Skinner Company. Consisting of over 6,000 individual pipes and 106 ranks and seven divisions, the organ has a console of four manual keyboards and one pedal keyboard. © 2006 Washington Symphonic Brass. ℗ 2007 Rhino Entertainment Company, a Warner Music Group Company.
