Parsifal was recorded at the Bayreuth Festival, 13 August 1964. Knappertsbusch's last performance of the work (and his last performance of anything: he died on 25 October 1965). The discs state "A Hunt Production ℗ 1990 Made in Italy by Phono Comp". This is consistent with the "PHC" after the matrix numbers. The back of the CD case states "Manufactured by MPO France 1990", a French CD manufacturer.
