Am Anfang stand für mich die Faszination einer Stimme: Esther Ofarim. Eine Stimme, die eine eigene Liedform erfordert.
In der Vertonung der Lyrik von Wolf Wondratschek und Ulf Miehe erkenne ich die Entsprechung.
Die Herausforderung Bestand für mich darin, Gedichte in eine musikalische Form zu übertragen. Was sich aus dieser Herausforderung ergab, stellte das Projekt zeitweise in Frage. Gleichzeitig aber konnte diese LP nur in diesem Spannungsfeld entstehen." E.S. 1982
