℗ 1976 EMI Records Ltd. Made in the UK. Printed in Great Britain.
Included is a paperback book (100 pages, including front & back) about the instruments of the Middle Ages & Renaissance.
It is written by David Munrow and it is an elaborate description with lots of photo's in black & white.
The front and back cover are in color. It has almost the size of the box, approximately 28,5 by 28,5 cm.
It has been published by Oxford University Press / Music Department (ISBN 0 19 321321 4).
And it was first published in 1976; reprinted 1976 (twice); 1977 (four times), 1978, 1980, 1982.
The reinforced cardboard box also contains a 6-page folded leaflet almost the size of the box.
It describes all the tracks of the recordings and has liner notes in English by David Munrow (see images).
Cover illustration: Details from "Hearing" by Jan Breughel (1568-1625), Prado, Madrid.
Note: Because of the book editions mentioned, this release is therefore from 1982 or later and thus a reissue.
Although the 2 vinyl records, leaflet and the box might be from an older date (leftovers from earlier releases perhaps).
The 2 original company printed (EMI) inner sleeves are printed in May 1983 (5/83).
