“Desert Island” is an electroacoustic piece by sound artist Snezhana Reizen.
The only sound source for this work comes out as noise that appears between disconnected or partly unplugged wires, its dense artefacts, and analogue textures convoying the energy discharges.
It starts with the raw drones and cracks of an eroded electrical arc, and moves towards their dissemination in transformations through a multilayered procession executed in an acousmatic manner.
