"DOWN was recorded sometime during the first half of 1994 at Chicago Recording Company. Mixing and remixing was done all over the darn place. John Loder mastered it at Abbey Road Studios in London -thank you John. FALLING DOG was painted by Malcolm Bucknall -thank you Malcolm. Jeremiah clued us in on the Providence colloquialisms used on AMERICAN BB -thank you Jeremiah. Whitney O'Keefe contributed his lyrical genius for DESTROY BEFORE READING -thank you Whitney. Mark Todd wrote the words for THE BEST PARTS (though not all of them were used) -thank you Mark.

Tracks 1 to 13 were first issued as the album '[m=6287]' by Touch and Go on August 26th 1994.
Track 14 is ten seconds of silence to separate the album 'Down' from the bonus tracks below:
Track 15 is from the '[m=47075]' single, which was released by Touch and Go on January 17th 1994.
Tracks 16 & 17 are from the '[m=47103]' EP, which was recorded in Chicago, IL, USA during May 1993 and released by Touch and Go on August 20th 1993.
Track 18 is from '[m=277803]' soundtrack compilation, which was released by Chaos Recordings / Miramax / Columbia on October 11th 1994.
