To play the quartet by Carter, the string quartet is divided into two duos: Violin I + Cello and Violin II + Viola.
The 4 movements numbered B1 to B4 are played by the first duo, while simulteaneously the movements numbered Ba to Bf are played by the second duo.
There are (logically) no empty grooves between movements on the disc.
