Total time: 2h 17'56
Heinrich Schütz: recorded at église Saint-Jean, Beaufays, January 1998
Johann Sebastiani: recorded at église Saint-Apollinaire, Bolland, April 1995
From the liner notes on Sebastiani's Passion:
"....This Passion clearly fulfilled a liturgical function and as such provided for two sermons in its course. These have been replaced on this recording by instrumental works - a sonata by Samuel Ebart and two pieces for viols by David Funk. At the end of the recording we have also added a fine Funeral Lament from the pen of Andreas Scharmann, a composer for whom there is unfortunately no further documentation available. ..."
